we have a new publication from J. Phys. Chem. C. This manuscript deals with the accelerated carbonation phenomena on synthesized C-S-H, monitored by 1H-NMR relaxometry with D2O exchange method.
We confirmed that the vaterite is formed in narrow spaces (like gel pores) with the aid of surface interaction, which stabilizes the unstable vaterite. This is an outcome from GI project, leading team of Chiba Universtiy.
