In July 2025, Dr. Guoqing Geng, Associate Professor at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS), visited our laboratory.
Dr. Geng received his bachelor’s degree from Southeast University (China), and his master’s and doctoral degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on cement chemistry, nano-scale structural characterization of cement-based materials, and sustainable concrete technologies. He has published over 70 peer-reviewed papers and is internationally recognized for his work on calcium silicate hydrate (C-S-H) nanostructures, chloride transport mechanisms, and the development of low-carbon binders.
Dr. Geng’s visit was a valuable opportunity that opened up new possibilities for future collaborations and academic exchange. We sincerely thank him for his time and insights.
